Children’s Area

We’ve reinvented our children’s space, making it a great educational and fun destination for kids from toddlers up. We have a LEGO table, a train table with Thomas & Friends, puzzles, computers offering educational games in fun formats, and of course, thousands of children’s books!

Introduce your child to learning experiences that will help prepare them for future reading and learning success.

Preschool Storytime

Introduces children to the library as they enjoy stories, songs, and crafts that help build early literacy, creativity, and social skills. Ages 2 and up.

Lego Club

Make new friends while creating LEGO masterpieces. We supply the LEGOs. You may even find your work on display in the library. Ages 6 and up.

Quilter’s Guild

The Blue Ridge Quilters meet to share ideas and techniques as they share their love of quilting. Bring an unfinished project or get ideas to start something new.

Yoga

Breathe, stretch, and relax. Build strength and flexibility in muscles and learn skills to reduce stress. Registration required. Adults and teens.

Puzzles

Bring home a jigsaw puzzle and watch as your family connects with each other in this relaxing, yet challenging activity. We have lots of choices from Children’s to 1000 pieces. No return due date so you’ll have time to finish!
