Board Meeting will Observe Social Distancing

March 19, 2020

The Botetourt County Board of Supervisors will hold its scheduled regular meeting for Tuesday, March 24, 2020, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Greenfield Education and Training Center in Daleville. In light of the guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Virginia Department of Health (VDH), and Governor Northam, social distancing will be observed at the meeting. These measures will include spaced seating, limited person-to-person contact, and reduced County staff in attendance.

Anyone wishing to offer comments to the Board but who does not wish to attend in person to speak during the meeting is encouraged to provide written comments by clicking on the button below.

Comments may be provided for any item as a part of the public comment period or for public hearings. Comments submitted through this form will be provided to the Board members and County Administration. It is encouraged that comments be provided as soon as possible and in advance of the meeting, if possible. Doing so will help ensure that the comments can be incorporated into the record for the Board meeting.

Furthermore, since the County’s administrative offices will still be closed to the public during the time of the Board meeting, anyone wishing to attend the Board meeting will be asked to only go to the areas designated for the meeting. This will include the lecture hall, a conference room designated for overflow, and the restrooms on the upper level of the building.

Persons needing assistance in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) should notify County staff either in advance at (540) 928-2006 or upon arriving at the Board meeting.
